Industrial and intellectual property rights

The intellectual and industrial property rights contained in the website www.terapiasaama.com, its graphic design and source code, as well as the trademarks and distinctive signs, texts, lectures and videos that appear on it, are owned by SAAMA® INT. S.L. or, where applicable, SAAMA® INT. S.L. holds the appropriate rights to use and exploit them.

Any reproduction, public communication, distribution, commercialisation or transformation of the content that has not been expressly authorised in writing by its owners constitutes an infringement of the intellectual and industrial property rights protected by law.

SAAMA® INT. S.L. may bring any administrative, civil or criminal actions available to it in the event of infringement of these rights.

General principles

SAAMA® INT. S.L. (hereinafter “SAAMA®” or “We”) is committed to respecting privacy in accordance with data protection regulations, in particular Spanish Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data (Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de protección de datos de carácter personal) and its implementing regulations, or any legislation that may replace them in the future.

By using the website at www.terapiasaama.com (hereinafter the “Website”) — and in particular by entering data in its forms or attempting to contact us — you accept that the personal data you voluntarily provide to us will be included, where applicable, in SAAMA®’s files and will only be processed within the limits set out in this Privacy Policy and in the Legal Notice (hereinafter, the “legal texts”).

Accordingly, do not use this Website and do not enter your data on it if you do not agree with the terms and conditions published in our legal texts.

We collect information at different times and in different ways, as described in the following sections.

Purposes of the processing

The different purposes for collecting and processing the personal data requested by the Website in its various sections (including, among others, your first name and surname, your email address, your telephone number and the courses or lectures you are interested in) are:

• To be able to inform you about the courses, lectures and events given by SAAMA® and its collaborators, as well as about the biography, videos, podcasts, books and schools related to SAAMA® Therapy or Veturián Arana and other collaborators.
• To manage your participation in the matters described in the previous point, including the administration and management of the resulting relationship.
• To be able to answer any questions or enquiries you may have raised, and to process whatever you request through our forms.
• To be able to send you the newsletters and emails of SAAMA® and its Collaborators, as well as any electronic communications containing their information, whether commercial or professional. Accuracy of data

The data you provide as a User must be true, accurate, complete and up to date, and you (the user) are solely responsible for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, that you may cause to SAAMA® or to any third party due to falsity, inaccuracy, insufficiency or failure to keep the data up to date.

Confidentiality of username and password

Where the Website provides you with a username and password, you undertake to use them diligently and not to make them available to third parties, and to notify SAAMA® as soon as possible of the loss, theft or any risk of access to them by a third party.

Recording of access data in a log file

SAAMA® informs you that the IP address from which you access the server where the Website is hosted, the date and time of access, and the pages you visit that are hosted on this server, will be collected and stored in a log file that will be processed by SAAMA® in order to count the visits received by the Website and to produce statistics, and also in order to evidence users’ consent to legal documents such as, for example, the Privacy Policy itself.

Events: information about possible recording

In order to promote awareness of SAAMA® Therapy, some events are recorded and subsequently disseminated through the Website, social media and other media, without these activities giving rise to any right to remuneration for the person concerned. If this poses any inconvenience for you, you must inform the event organisers in advance and take a seat at the event where you will not be recorded and will not take an active part.

Acceptance of this Privacy Policy implies authorisation to record your image and/or voice, thereby granting to the student/attendee/participant the rights to exploit the image and voice for recordings related to the general dissemination of SAAMA® Therapy and, where applicable, for their subsequent commercialisation, whether online or offline, in all countries of the world without geographical limitation of any kind.

Data transfers

Likewise, when you take part in or register for a course or event promoted by SAAMA®, your data may also be communicated to the hotel or to the person responsible for the venue where the event takes place, in order to manage accreditations and accommodation.

Third-party links and websites

To register for certain courses and lectures on the website, we may offer you a link to the website of an external collaborator of SAAMA®. In these cases, the applicable privacy policy is that of the third-party website, and SAAMA® is not responsible for that processing.

Exercise of ARCO rights

You may write to SAAMA® whenever you wish to exercise your ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation and objection), that is, to obtain details of the personal information SAAMA® holds about you at that time, to request its rectification if the data is incorrect or its deletion if we are not required to keep it by legal obligation or for legitimate professional reasons, always enclosing a photocopy of your national identity document (DNI).

Acknowledgment and acceptance of the Terms of Service

Through the website www.terapiasaama.com (the “Website”), SAAMA® INT. S.L. (hereinafter, “SAAMA®”) offers the possibility of registering for events, lectures and courses (in-person, blended and online) organised by SAAMA® (the “Service(s)”). The main characteristics of these congresses, events and courses can be consulted on the Website before starting the contracting process for each of them.

By using any part of the Service or by completing the registration or purchase process for the Service at www.terapiasaama.com, as a customer you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions specified in the “Legal Texts” (Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and these Terms of Use).

Procedure for purchasing tickets and/or registrations

To enter into contracts through the Website, you must first register by accepting the Legal Texts. Once registered, to place an order you must follow the online purchase procedure and click through the payment procedure indicated on the Website. There will be no contract in relation to any Service until SAAMA® has expressly accepted an order (by sending the Confirmation).

The Confirmation is an email that will be sent (to the email address you provided at the time of registration) acknowledging receipt of your order and containing all the information about the purchase or registration for the event/course/lecture. We recommend that you keep a digital or printed copy of all this information.

Registration, access to services and security

To access certain Services, you must provide information about yourself (such as identification or contact information and a password) as part of the registration process for the Service, or as part of your continued use of the Service. You agree that the registration information you provide will be accurate, correct and up to date at all times.

Your commitments

You are obliged (a) to pay promptly for the Service or Services contracted, (b) to comply with applicable laws and the Legal Texts, and in particular (c) not to engage in any activity that hinders or interferes with the operation of the Service, (d) not to use the content you access through the Service for educational and/or training purposes for third parties, and (e) to respect the educational values defined in these Terms of Use.

Unless you hold specific authorisation under a contract signed separately with SAAMA®, you also undertake not to reproduce, duplicate, publicly communicate, copy, sell, market, resell, distribute, transform or modify the content acquired, the content you access or the Services contracted.

Educational values: exercises, assignments and obtaining the diploma

SAAMA® offers a series of training courses for those interested in training in SAAMA® Therapy. Given the commitment undertaken and the guarantee of quality of the training, SAAMA® reserves the right to award a diploma linked to these courses, setting minimum requirements based on the attendance, participation, learning and practical use achieved by each student.

Conduct

To ensure the smooth running of the lecture, event or course, it is essential to observe the fundamental guarantees of coexistence and respect. In the event of non-compliance, SAAMA® reserves the right to refuse admission. The conduct guarantees entail:

• Respect for the teaching team and members of the organisation, as well as for the other course participants.
• Punctuality at all scheduled events and activities.
• Refraining from using or cooperating in fraudulent procedures in assessment tests.
• Any act or omission that disturbs order in the classroom is prohibited.
• Preserving the right to privacy of participants, speakers, trainers and/or third parties.
• Refraining from filming, recording or photographing the event from beginning to end.

Prices and invoicing

The prices of our products and services are expressed in euros. The price of each product or service will be that stipulated on the Website at any given time (including applicable taxes), except in the case of a manifest error. Prices may change at any time, but any changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you a confirmation.

SAAMA® accepts the following forms of payment: bank transfers, credit cards through the payment gateway, and PayPal through the PayPal platform.

You expressly agree to receive the invoice in electronic format at the email address you provided when registering. You may revoke this consent by sending an email to coordinacionsaama@gmail.com.

Refund policy

General:

To request a refund, send your request by email to coordinacionsaama@gmail.com.

Regarding lectures and seminars:

Your inability to attend a training session, lecture, seminar or equivalent activity is not sufficient grounds for a refund of the price paid. In the event of a change of date, the ticket will remain valid. If you cannot attend on the new date, you will be offered a refund of the sale price provided you have notified SAAMA® at least 15 days before the start of the event.

Regarding In-Person Training courses:

If the student cancels 60 days before the event, no amount paid will be refunded.

Regarding Online Training courses:

Once payment has been made, no refunds will be given, since our courses have a 3-month lifespan in which to complete them. The “enrolment date” will be understood to be the date on which the student makes the first payment for the course in question. In any case of dropout or withdrawal requested once the course has started, you will not be entitled to any refund.

Intellectual and industrial property rights

All intellectual and industrial property rights forming part of the content you access as a result of the Service are owned by SAAMA® INT. S.L. and are protected by applicable national and international legislation.

As a registered user/student, SAAMA® authorises you to access and view the content for your exclusive personal use. This licence is non-exclusive and limited to the duration of your contracting of the Service. This licence is non-transferable.

We also inform you that, as a student/attendee/user, you may not use the names “TERAPIA SAAMA®”, “SAAMA®” or “VETURIÁN ARANA” as a trademark for commercial or advertising purposes.

General

Access to and use of the Website is at the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user or customer. You must be over 18 years of age and be qualified to act and to contract the registration or use of this Service.

The relationship between you (the user) and SAAMA® shall be governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the city of Girona (Spain).

By enrolling in a SAAMA® Online training, the student undertakes to:

1. Make good use of the SAAMA® Method, always using it for the benefit of their fellow human beings, as well as animals and plants, and undertakes that the benefit of all shall prevail over their own benefit. I have been advised in this document that misuse of the Method will result in the loss of the Connection, SAAMA® will cease to work for him/her, and he/she will not be able to provide the help to others that was conferred upon him/her.
2. Respect the copyright of the course material by avoiding copying and distributing the course content. Otherwise, the student will be removed from the entire SAAMA® environment and will lose the privileges that come with belonging to the SAAMA® Family. There is no point in learning something that has been copied, because it loses the original characteristics of its creation and diminishes morally both the person who copies it and the person who receives it, aspects entirely foreign to the way SAAMA® acts.
