SAAMA® METHOD

What is SAAMA® and what is an Invisible Brake?

There's something much harder than not knowing what you want:

knowing it perfectly... and still doing the opposite.

Why? It may not be a lack of willpower. There may be something within you influencing that decision without you being aware of it. And we call this the Invisible Brake.

There are things you may already know about yourself.

You want to change. You want to move forward. You want to react differently. And yet, there are situations where you end up doing exactly what you know you don't want to do.

You've probably tried some of these things:

  • understanding what's happening to you;
  • controlling your reactions;
  • managing your emotions;
  • changing certain habits;
  • making different decisions;
  • therapy, courses, meditation or personal development.

And often that helps. But something frustrating can happen:

You understand much more... and yet the pattern keeps showing up.

Reactions you don't choose.

Relationships that seem different but end up looking the same.

Blocks that appear when you want to move forward.

Situations you thought were over and they come back.

Understanding helps.

But understanding doesn't always change what keeps repeating.

THE PIECE THAT MAY BE MISSING

What is an Invisible Brake?

An Invisible Brake is something you don't yet see consciously but that may be influencing a pattern, reaction, decision or situation that keeps repeating in your life.

It doesn't mean you haven't learned enough.

It doesn't mean you don't want to change.

It doesn't necessarily mean you lack willpower.

It means there may be a part of the problem you're still not seeing.

  • You may rationally know a relationship isn't right for you… and end up in similar relationships again.
  • You may want to move forward professionally… and hold back just when an opportunity appears.
  • You may decide you'll react differently this time… and react the same way again.
  • You may know exactly what you want… and still not manage to do it.

What is holding you back that you still can't see?

How do you know if there may be an Invisible Brake?

There is an extraordinarily simple clue:

Observe where your life repeats itself.

You change partners… but the same conflict appears.

You change jobs… but you feel undervalued again.

You start another diet… and regain the weight again.

You earn money… and shortly after it disappears again.

You decide to set boundaries… and you say yes again.

You meet someone… and when the relationship starts to work, something happens.

You launch a project… and just when it could take off, you begin to doubt.

Circumstances change.

People change.

Years go by.

But the result looks similar.

When a result repeats with different actors,

what part of the pattern might be inside you?

What if the problem you see isn't the whole problem?

We usually work on what we can see:

  • the reaction,
  • the fear,
  • the insecurity,
  • the behavior,
  • the decision,
  • the emotional symptom.

SAAMA® starts from a different question: What might be sustaining that pattern?

When you start looking behind what's obvious, a new possibility appears: Stop limiting yourself to managing the response and learn to investigate what might be causing it.

You don't always need more answers. Sometimes you need to know where to look.

THE METHOD

What is the SAAMA® Method?

SAAMA® is a structured method that teaches you to look for what may be behind a pattern, problem or situation that keeps repeating, and to work on it through a concrete protocol.

The idea isn't to memorize a theory. The idea is to learn a tool you can use.

SAAMA® teaches you where to look when you don't understand why something keeps repeating.

Most methods work on the symptom.
SAAMA® works on the cause.

Understanding why something happens to you doesn't change it.
Managing it doesn't remove it either.

Only when you intervene on the origin does the pattern stop repeating.

How does the SAAMA® Method work?

The SAAMA® Method is a clear, structured process to go from “I don't know why this happens to me” to “I know where to start looking”.

  • Step 1: You identify the pattern or problem you want to work on.

  • Step 2: You locate its origin, invisible brake (even if you don't remember it).

  • Step 3: You apply a specific intervention to the real root of the problem.

  • Step 4: The pattern loses strength or disappears.

Without needing to relive pain, without long processes, and without depending on anyone.

You're not here to learn an explanation.

You're here to learn a process.

WHEN THE ROOT CAUSE STOPS CALLING THE SHOTS

What can start to change when you learn where to look?

The goal isn't to promise that everything disappears in the same way for everyone.

The goal is for you to have a different tool for what you used to only know how to manage.

1

You can observe your patterns with more clarity.

2

You can stop feeling so trapped in certain reactions.

3

You can make decisions from a different place.

4

You can begin to understand what to look at when something repeats again.

5

You can develop more autonomy to work on yourself.

The difference isn't in trying harder.

It's in learning where to look.

What makes SAAMA® different?

  • It is a structured method, not something abstract. It follows a process.
  • It is practical and applicable from day one
  • It doesn't depend on long processes
  • You don't need to relive the pain.
  • You don't need to remember the situation.
  • Look for what's behind the problem.
  • It works directly on the real root

That's why the changes aren't just temporary.

SAAMA® isn't a technique to feel better for a little while.
It's a way to stop repeating what makes you suffer.

And when that happens... you begin to live from a much more coherent, free, and peaceful place.

Stop accumulating answers.

Learn a tool.

Origin and foundations of the SAAMA® Method

The SAAMA® Method has been developed over years of practice, observation and training with people in different countries.

Its structure integrates different ways of observing how automatic responses, emotional patterns and repetitive behaviours are generated and maintained.

Some contemporary concepts — such as neuroplasticity, emotional learning and the automation of responses — help explain why certain patterns can become consolidated and repeat.

The SAAMA® Method is based on principles recognized by modern science about how emotions and the nervous system work.

  • Research from the HeartMath Institute has shown that the state of coherence between heart and mind directly influences emotional stability, mental clarity, and decision-making.
  • In parallel, trauma studies - such as those by psychiatrist Bessel van der Kolk - explain that many emotional reactions are automatic and are registered in the nervous system, beyond conscious will.
  • Neuroplasticity confirms that these patterns can be modified through new internal experiences.

SAAMA® integrates these principles into a practical method that allows direct intervention on the automatic response, enabling real changes in how we feel, think, and act.

Who might it make sense to learn SAAMA®?

IT MAY BE FOR YOU IF...

  • You feel there are patterns that keep repeating and you're not sure why.
  • You've tried other ways of working on yourself and feel something is still missing.
  • You want something practical and structured.
  • You want to learn a tool you can use yourself.
  • You're interested in better understanding what holds you back.
  • You'd also like to be able to help other people.

IT'S PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF...

  • You're only looking for motivation or inspiration.
  • You expect someone else to do all the work for you.
  • You have no interest in practising.
  • You want guarantees of identical results for everyone.
  • You prefer to keep only analysing without intervening.
SAAMA®

Your life doesn't change when you understand the problem.

It changes when you eliminate what causes it at the root.

Laura Martinez

Madrid, Spain

ANTES: I avoided meetings and social situations because they created too much tension.

ACCIÓN: With SAAMA® I learned to identify which emotion was triggered and how to intervene in the moment.

DESPUÉS: In a few weeks I was able to attend meetings without feeling overwhelmed.

Resultado observable: Clear reduction of tension in specific social situations.

C

Carmen Ruiz

Barcelona, Spain

ANTES: My relationship was full of repetitive arguments.

ACCIÓN: Applying the method, I understood the pattern I repeated and practiced how to change my reaction.

DESPUÉS: Now we argue much less and I handle conflict with more calm.

Resultado observable: Real improvement in relationship dynamics.

Change does not happen through inspiration or motivation.

It happens when you intervene in a structured way at the root of the pattern that generates it.

That is what you train in SAAMA® 1.0 Online.

Creator of the SAAMA® Method

Who is Veturián Arana?

Veturián Arana
For years I saw people perfectly understand what was happening to them... but without being able to change it. That's where SAAMA® was born.
Veturián

Veturián Arana created SAAMA® after years of study, practice and observation of human behavior.

His goal was not to create another theory about why things happen to us.

It was to develop a structured way to investigate what may be behind it and learn to work on it.
